The minor third of a F Minor Major 7th chord is Ab. The minor third is up three half-steps from the Root.
Finding Ab from F step by step:
- Start on: F
- Step 1: move up to Gb
- Step 2: move up to G
- Step 3: Land on Ab

The fifth of a F Minor Major 7th chord is C. The fifth is down five half-steps from the Root -- but it's easier to just think of it as a variation on the fifth. Once you know your fifths, the flat fifth and sharp fifth are a lot easier to find.
Finding C from F step by step:
- Start on: F
- Step 1: move down to E
- Step 2: move down to Eb
- Step 3: move down to D
- Step 4: move down to Db
- Step 5: Land on C

The major seventh of a F Minor Major 7th chord is E. The major seventh is a half-step from the Root. A half-step means that there are no piano keys in between. This is why the major seventh is one of the easiest notes to find.
