- Start on: F#
- Step 1: move up to G
- Step 2: move up to G#
- Step 3: move up to A
- Step 4: Land on A#

The fifth of a F# Dominant Chord (with 5th) chord is C#. The fifth is down five half-steps from the Root -- but it's easier to just think of it as a variation on the fifth. Once you know your fifths, the flat fifth and sharp fifth are a lot easier to find.

- Step 1: move down to E#
- Step 2: move down to E
- Step 3: move down to D#
- Step 4: move down to D
- Step 5: Land on C#

The minor seventh of a F# Dominant Chord (with 5th) chord is E. The minor seventh is down two half-steps from the Root.
